Sunday the 8th November 2015 the residents of Thatcham came out in there hundreds to pay their respects to those that lost thier lives fighting for our country. Thatcham has always honoured this day and to see the British legion, Army, Scouts Giudes Brownies etc as well as the Town mayor and civic dignitaries is truly breathtaking. From the Memorial the procession lead off towards St Marys church for a service of remberance.
Our thanks goes to John Herring reporter for the Newbury Weekly News for taking  this photograph of the event.

 They shall grow not  old, as we that are left  grow old;
 Age shall not weary  them, nor the years  condemn.
 At the going down of  the sun and in the  morning.
 We will remember                  them.
